Schedule: Full-time or part-time; flexible; weekends during Tax Season

ATAX Omaha is looking for an experienced tax preparer to take on a lead role supporting our team. We are sourcing candidates in the Papillion, NE area. This position is based out of our Omaha office and combines hands-on tax preparation with team support.

About the Role
You’ll prepare tax returns while helping ensure quality, consistency, and a positive client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare individual and small business tax returns
  • Review work for accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with workflow during peak tax season
  • Support team members as needed
  • Provide excellent client service

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of tax preparation experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Tax software experience preferred
